Fill out the form below to get power to a location that currently has a meter or has had a meter in the past. Please allow up to one business day for GVEC to connect service at existing locations.

Tax exempt status? Fill out a sales tax exemption form and submit it to any GVEC office.

Additional requirements for new service:
  • Proper permit if applying for construction (contact your builder for more information)
  • Notarized easement of neighboring properties (if applicable)
  • Deed information (used on easement of the property)
  • Size of service needed (phase or load of power)
  • Service configuration (underground or overhead)

If you are a current GVEC member with a security light that needs to be fixed, fill out the form below or call us at 800.223.4832 to schedule a repair visit. Security lights are repaired during normal business hours.

A fee is charged for each new account or transferred service to cover the cost of administrative services.

  • Membership Fee – $25.00. This is a one-time fee for any new member to the Cooperative.
  • Account Setup Fee – $50.00. This is required for each new account established.
  • A deposit may be required on active residential accounts.
  • For new service installs or when adding a security light, line extension fees will be determined after a field visit.
