For one night only, the food, fellowship and fun of Hotshot’s legendary fish fry will be back! Don’t miss your chance to relive the memory of Eileen “G.G.” Silvia’s green bean salad, cole slaw, fries, and of course, her unforgettable cod, fried up by the GVEC Cook Team.
For those of you new to our area, Hotshot’s restaurant was located on the banks of Lake McQueeney. For decades folks would come by boat and car to enjoy warm evenings by the water with their families. They knew they were going to get the tastiest fish dinner around.
Although the actual restaurant is no longer open, the Seguin Chamber, along with the help of the Silvia and Frazar families, brings back the Hotshot’s experience for a one-night Chamber fundraiser. But don’t ask for recipes—they’re still a family secret.
Meal tickets are $15 and if the kids aren’t big on fish, hot dog meals are available. So, come by for a good time you won’t regret. And, remember, “Come rain or shine, it’s fish fry time!”
When: Friday, March 31, 2017, from 5–9:30 p.m.
Where: Starcke Park East Pavilion in Seguin
Tickets: Available at the Seguin Chamber, on their website and “at the door”
