Automatic Payment - The Fastest Most Efficient Method
Talk about convenience, set it up once and forget about it until you need to make a change!
Bank Draft – The number one way to ensure your payment is made on time every month! With a bank draft, you specify an account (checking, savings, or debit card) and that account is automatically debited for the amount of your bill each month. The amount will be drafted from your account on your billing due date.
Credit Card Draft – Works just like a bank draft, except with your credit card. Your credit card account is automatically debited for the amount of your electric bill each month. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. The amount will be debited from your card on your billing due date.
Online Payment – Quick and Easy
For those internet savvy members, online payment is quick, easy and secure!
Online Payment – Take advantage of our E-Bill system, SmartHub, offering you the choice to receive your bill via email or regular mail. With Online Billing, you can view your bill and make payments anytime, day or night! To sign up, click HERE and follow our simple instructions to set up your own secure account.
Customer Service Payment – Traditional and Honest
We love to visit with our customers at all 5 of our office locations in Gonzales, Cuero, La Vernia, Seguin and Schertz. However, if you cannot make it in and automated choices are not for you, we’ve got you covered with three different options to meet your schedule!
Phone – Pay over the phone by calling 1-800-223-GVEC (4832). Customer service hours are 7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday. A customer service representative you can trust will happily assist you. Or pay by phone after hours with a credit card or e-check (e-check requires you to have your
bank account profile already set up in our system.).
Kiosk – A fast, secure and convenient way to pay your electric bill, anytime day or night. Payments are posted immediately to your account and you’ll receive a receipt. You can also view your balance, billing and payment history. The kiosk accepts cash, credit card and electronic check. Currently installed at both the Schertz and Seguin Customer Service Centers.
Night Drop – For your after-hour convenience, we offer night drop boxes located in the drive-thru lane at all of our 5 office locations. For your safety, secure forms of payment include checks and money orders. Cash is not accepted via night drop.
Mail – We’re happy to process your payment by mail. Again, secure forms of payment include checks and money orders. Cash is not accepted via mail.
