Due to the rise of COVID-19 cases within our service territory, GVEC has temporarily closed all customer service lobbies. Drive thru lanes will remain open for our customers' convenience at this time. You may also continue to call us for assistance or visit our websites and self-service portals to conduct business with us.

Ah, feel that crisp autumn air! Summer’s blistering heat has mostly retreated, and you’re able to give your AC a much-deserved break.  Fall might be perfect time to throw open the windows and let Mother Nature control the temperature in your home, but it’s also the perfect time to begin thinking about approaching winter weather and to get your HVAC system checked!

Having your system checked before winter arrives will not only ensure your system is in safe and good working condition before it’s time to crank up the heat, but preventative maintenance can extend the life of your AC/heating unit. Plus, according to the Department of Energy, regular maintenance can save you five to 10 percent on your heating and cooling costs.
