Our robust communication system is designed to serve you better, but it can only be effective with accurate and current information. That’s why, this month, we ask you to take a minute to ensure your GVEC account information is current.

Email: By keeping your email current on your GVEC account, you gain access to valuable features such as signing up for and receiving usage, billing, and weather alerts. Additionally, you’ll receive email messages from GVEC regarding important matters like upcoming line maintenance in your area. This way, you can stay informed and plan ahead accordingly.

 

Mailing Address: Even if you prefer digital communication, certain items may still be sent through traditional mail. Having your current mailing address on file ensures you receive all relevant information promptly and don’t miss out on anything critical.

 

Phone Number: Outage reporting is fast and as easy as texting “OUT” 800.223.4832 with our TextPower™ reporting system. You can also receive outage updates just as easily. But this service will only work when you text from the cellphone number listed on your GVEC account. Take a minute to ensure we have your current cellphone number on your account.

 

We understand that life is busy, but updating your contact details is simpler than you might think. All you need to do is log into the SmartHub self-service portal from a desktop computer (not the SmartHub app), navigate to the personal information section, and make the necessary updates. It’s a small effort that can make a big difference in staying connected with us.
