The increasing cost of groceries in 2022 has continued into the holidays. That means some local families may have less in their pantries to celebrate with this year. As you count your blessings during this season of joy, celebrating amongst family and friends, it’s a perfect time to spread some of those blessings to those who may not have as many.

Wondering how you can get involved in spreading cheer to those in your community who might need a helping hand? Maybe you know someone in need of support this holiday season? We’ve compiled the following list of local food banks that you can donate time or other resources to—or where you yourself can turn to for help. Keep in mind, too, that none of these organizations limits their activities to the holidays—the end of Christmas and New Year’s doesn’t end the ongoing challenge across local communities to continue uplifting and supporting those in need.
