The fastest, simplest way to report an outage and check the status is with TextPower.*

Use the SmartHub customer service portal from your desktop computer or the mobile app to report an outage with accurate account information.

The GVEC outage map is the best resource for the estimated time to restore power. Please, be aware that times are subject to change.

Restoration of electricity is our top priority. Internet issues and outages will be addressed as outage situations and weather conditions allow.

No. Regular, non-payment disconnections will resume after the emergency event has concluded.

Rotating outages are issued by ERCOT. Rotating outages primarily affect residential neighborhoods and small businesses and are typically limited to 10 to 45 minutes before being rotated to another location.
